It had better not rain here, I've just had my son hang all the washing out. It's sunny at the moment.
Fantastic storm again yesterday evening and the temperature is quite pleasant this morning.

And again, heavy rain overnight and then the sun came out for our "Slow-Up" bike ride around Sélestat near Colmar. I'm done cycling for a few days now; it can rain all day tomorrow for all I care.

Today Basel had what *I* consider the perfect day: 20C, fluffy white clouds, a brisk breeze and a tolerable humidity level. I could take this weather for the rest of the summer | This user would like to thank DantesDame for this useful post: | |

Rain, rain, rain, rain and more rain. I'm not complaining though as it is good for the garden and I can live with the odd day of wet weather.

Horrible rain and quite windy this morning - clearing up a bit now.
Farmers do need the rain - but I keep worrying about my new adoptees finding food and feeding those eggs- oh and making delicious honey. They were checked yesterday and all is fine- but they do need sun now to go a-hunting that nectar in our wild flower fields.

Looks like it's going to be raining all afternoon.
Do I brave the weather and go out and buy something nice for dinner? Or do I muddle together something from the pantry and call it 'fusion', and watch Game of Thrones season six?... Bearing in mind, I've already cued up GoT. And fish finger noodles in sweet and sour sauce is sounding pretty good right now.

I walked outside for no more than 2 minutes, one espresso in my hand. By the time I got back to work, I was holding a giant, diluted Americano.

Yeah family and friends posted pictures on FB of trees up-rooted and other damage in the Midlands and London area. And you can be sure some of us here in Switzerland are also very grumpy about the elections on Thursday
Lots of postal votes seem to have miraculously got lost in key marginal seats - surprise, surprise. How doeson know if one's vote has got there and been counted. (ooops for another thread this- sorry).
So shall I beg OH to put woodburner on or not? Fiipping ridiculous. Visitors from San Fran and Albuquerque arriving on Saturday- hope things improve by then!

Torrential downpour here about 10 past 9. Knocked the internet out completely for about 5 minutes until the rain and wind died down again.
Don't hold your breath Odile, Meteocentrale says rain on Monday into Tuesday around here.

No no no no and nooooo.
We just had 4 days like that here in Biel/Bienne, with additional very very gusty wind that almost blew my home made tomato shelter off the balcony and threw over the cucumber (luckily no damages done and could harvest the next two already).
I want SUN SUN SUN now!
