Anyway, I need the sun back as I still can't get my little toe in any shoes. So flip-flop weather or I'll go berserk here.

And I'm quite happy in my equivalent of flip flops right now as the inside temp is still 25.5C.

Well, 23.7 outside so that's not bad. You might get a bit wet though. |

Been here 20 years and never saw a storm like today
Our balcony is recessed about 2 metres into the building so the walls and ceiling are part of the main structure.
So the balcony doors are well recessed and protected from the weather; first time ever these doors are covered in rainwater
I wanted to go out on the balcony and bring in the cushions but the wind was so strong that I had to struggle with the door so I chickened out! |

In fact since then the number of hurricanes per year was below average, nothing in size and power like Sandy and in 2013 there were even no major hurricanes.

Perfect- great weather again for our last lot of visitors, then rain which was much needed for a couple of days- and lovely weather for next lot arriving tonight and tomorrow. Hurrah.
Grey this morning- but lovely and sunny now- just a bit cooler, thank goodness- to last few weeks.
