Another gorgeous sunny day here.
Best make the most of it as I think it will be the last for a while.
Decided to turn the heating on to give it a chance to warm up by the middle of the week but it just seems really unnecessary with the weather as it is today.

Still gorgeous today and a 'cool' 19C in the mountains- snow on Wednesday, surely not The wood is ready for the granit clad wood burner in the kitchen, and the oil tank full to the brim, roof checked, snow-blower serviced- bring it on.

Been getting more and more windy here since 10.30am. The nice breeze through the kitchen window just slammed my kitchen door shut when it gusted. |

Rain overnight- and a little windy. Now patches of blue sky and breezy- but still fairly warm- 15C. Snow tomorrow- nah |

It's starting to get a little breezy here now but still beautiful sunshine and 21 degrees outside. I have been out and put all the patio furniture away just to be on the safe side.
There was a lot if rain and (Allegedly) lightening during last night but I was asleep so didn't notice it.
Even the weather forecaster on the radio this morning joked that he wouldn't mention tomorrow.

Horrible black clouds and rain all along the French side of Lac Leman. Temp has dropped 5 degrees in 5 minutes. Looks like it is headed directly for Leysin, Les Diablerets & Gstaad. Looks like we are dodging a bullet here in Lausanne.

Here's one good site to monitor all hazards, it will be stormy 2 days and first snow will arrive this Thursday. http://www.natural-hazards.ch/home/c...l-hazards.html |

Yep, it's going to be a bit breezy over the next 24 hrs. - fall out from whatever the last hurricane was called that's just come across the Atlantic, before being downgraded, and is dissipating its final flings on UK and now finding its way, in diluted form, to the rest of mainland Western Europe.
Good for getting rid of the leaves, though.
Great for kite flying - if the farmers hadn't sprayed liquid crap on all the open fields.
Snow has already been forecast in the next 24 hrs. down to 1000m, and the last time I looked, the three peaks of Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau were already capped, with what looked like fresh snow.

The meteoschweiz.admin.ch is the best way to see what is coming. Live radar. Their app is absolutely spot on. http://www.meteoschweiz.admin.ch/web...ar-images.html
