Nikki Forova has no particular reputation at present
Re: Weather!

Haha! Wait until the summer. Summer is glorious in Switzerland! Lake swimming, hiking - all this dinner conversation will be forgotten quickly till next winter.

Re: Weather!

Well, well, it rained last night, the air is clear and fresh. The pollen have been washed off although I did have to rinse the tiles this morning as it got left there in piles but I did that happily.
Next I hope to get the rest of it out the flat. When I hoovered the other day, my pseudo-dyson was all yellow

Re: Weather!

So is the "pollen storm" over or isn't it worth yet to clean the balcony?

Well, I've done it. Inside and out. And once you're through with the horizontal things you are reminded that pollen does not have a problem covering vertical items ....
It was the type of thing I stalled for an hour or two, thinking I don't want to waste my time on cleaning. But after, I must admit, it was absolutely worth it.

LOL, no way!
I will spend the entire year on figuring out how to avoid the situation next spring, take out a patent on the solution I come up with, then lean back and get rich.

A girl can dream.

And quite the flow it was!

I was up at 5 am when the rain was pounding down so hard it was almost deafening. Thunder rumbled, lightning flashed and it continued to pour for the next two hours. It was amazing and wonderful

This is the perfect start to a holiday weekend: first day off work is "forced relaxation" at home, then the weather clears up to go out and enjoy the next three days

Re: Weather!

I was up all night and am still buzzing. Which is fine as with this weather, when ever I finally do collapse I can do so without feeling I'll miss something out there.
Rain not all that strong here, just enough to keep plants and trees happy.

Agree!
It is good for the nature.
But can't we water the plants during business hours?

Re: Weather!

Speak for yourself - last week here was lovely. It's a bit cloudy today, but I don't mind. I was getting too hot the last couple of days. Had a thunderstorm last night, but didn't last long.

Re: Weather!

The USA is one of the biggest atmospheric polluters in the world and the weather systems that originate in USA from this pollution and later hit Europe cause so much damage here.
