Clouded over early evening and had a nice breeze, but then the sun came back out again and the wind died down. |

I'm actually loving the heat. Sorry. Sitting on the balcony last night, when it was 27 degrees at midnight, was like being on holiday in Greece. Currently got the fan on in front of an open window, bringing the fresh air in. Time for another coffee frappé.

The thing that is different from living in the US (east coast) is the lack of comparative humidity. It does cool down at night. Eventually, by about 1am, it is cool enough to sleep.
We have fans on in every room. One thing we’ve noticed is a lack of mosquitoes (knock wood). Either the fan is a detriment or they‘ve all dried up.
But it is atrocious from about 2pm to 9pm.
We‘re wondering if we should look into ceiling fans.....anyone have them here?

Had a moment of bliss last week when I was coming down the escalator in a store, and the display of fans at the bottom were going full blast. Got some lovely nether boobage ventilation from those, so much so that I decided to return the same route once I'd finished shopping. Unfortunately, there were 3 ladies hoisting their bras up and blocking the fans on my return. | The following 3 users would like to thank Blueangel for this useful post: | |

Weather has been here for ever. And I think people complaining about the weather, too. It could be a tiny bit warmer, a proper summer heat I remember from childhood.
Who cares about A/C and fans. Just eats electricity for our spoilt butts.
Make the most of it. Complainers are not hot. As sexy, I meant.
Love how little one needs in this, little laundry to do, no appetite. Just hanging outside as much as one can.

Just remember to keep hydrated and wear a hat. Sunscreen too if that’s your thing.

Guess it takes an other 10°C or so for me to find the need to drag it up.
I guess you do your coffee frappé the Greek way? Where do you buy this:

Eats energy. Hot weather eats enough energy as it is. Pragmatism might look ascetic, I get it. Complaints show care and reflection, too, it was not a jab, just a friendly comment.
I totally agree, sunscreen, a hat, start a day with 50cl of lemon water. I'd say sunglasses, a really good yank habit, albeit (just for you, curley) my eyes need a surgeon unfortunately, too late for sun glasses.
We got really cold last summer, a lot of rain and 10deg temps, so maybe that's why this weather just rocks

And when DB answered, I knew then with much joy that Tom Bombadil is alive and well living on a mountain in Glarus.

You can get it in Denner, in a bag, though.
