I keep scanning the precipitation radar to see when the rain will hit us.. I should stop, a watched kettle and all that

Those flipping rain clouds are not coming anywhere near us. I noticed Bern got a drenching this morning

It was wonderful. I deliberately left the umbrella at home so I could feel the cold rain.

I got caught it in just as I was getting off the train, wearing shorts and no umbrella to hand .

Re: Weather!

I go for a strong 10km good walk in the forest before 7-8am since weeks - it helps. Am never alone - always others to practice my "Gruezi" or "Morgen" on.

Spend the rest of the day under the cold shower, and applying for job interviews.

Re: Weather!

Everything being so dry teaches us about new dangers, and perhaps some things should be looked at when these summers are becoming a more often happening.

In Germany the bushes next to a railroad caught fire and they think the fire was caused by a spark from the ICE, 40 people wounded and at least 8 houses destroyed.

Re: Weather!

I can confirm that it did rain last night in Lausanne. The skies looked like the Apocalypse and the lightning and wind were impressive. Rainfall, though, was actually kind of meh. Over in 2 hours. Right back to la canicule all day today.
