Did you guys see what happened in Valais???

If you wait for the video that follows that one, you'll see Aargau also doesn't have a water problem.

Re: Weather!

I am not compatible with hot weather and Zug, it seems, is the centre of the non-rain region. For over two weeks i have been 10-20 times a day checking meteoswiss graphics, the one where you can see precipitation/rain clouds moving about. As soon as the clouds hit boundaries of Zug, they bugger off north or south and skirt the area. Oh common!!! Ok, we have had some rain the forecast, but it changed to zero in the end. We have had apparently a nice 'storm' this morning for ONCE but I have slept through the damn thing!!! I can't catch a break! I have arms as long as that orangutan from the Jungle Book, having made numerous trips with watering cans to the veg patch. And the veg patch is not even mine!!! Doing a favour... And i know i will get some shit tourist caramels as a thank you! That's it, I am bringing out my pagan tambourine!

Actually, that does look like a water problem to me!

It never rains but it pours.

ETA: But that Aargau report is from 13 months ago!

Ha! You have just described Basel as well...

And I wish I could have saved the animated radar where the storm was bubbling up from the southwest and just as it was about to hit Basel.... it dashed off to the east

Fortunately the last couple of days have produced some rain, with more forecasted for today and tomorrow (we'll see.... )

Indeed, it is! How weird is that?!
I saw the Valais incident on the news, looked for a link for EF. As the Aargau thing played right after I figured it was topical.

One thing learnt: Don't bother with TeleZüri

Sorry guys, didn't want to misinform.
Still, Valais actually is in trouble and it's not over yet, they say.

Re: Weather!

The end is nigh.. the precipitation radar looks heavenly.

Can I please thank you all for helping me through this difficult heatwave with yer funny posts and the top quality moaning.. the instructions and visuals on how to make Greek frappes was a wonderful distraction.

May the rain and lower temperatures be everything you wished for..

Cue "bloody weather! Nothing but rain, and it's FREEZING! You call this summer? Back home, at least we could look forward to 25° and a paddle in the pond!"

Not only last night, and throughout the night, but a big old cloudburst in Winterthur right now.
