BUGGER ME! Adieu my little narcissis, gorgeous tulips, mini hyacinth...all under 8 cm of snow! I'm sorry my roses that I took off your winter nets ten days ago.

Re: Weather!

Not 8cm in Belp, yet.... but heavily snowing it does 😔😔 Also hope that the stuff in the high rise beds survives. They're luckily protected by fleece and plastic tunnel. Fingers crossed!

April, April .... der macht was er will! Or freely translated April, April..... weather at its will ....

I blame Theresa. She brought the cold winds of brexit o'er the sea last night to Europe mainland. The cheek of her.. and her ice cold deals.

I just looked out the window, and it's still going.. spitting rain, neither here nor there.

A good moan about the weather. Nothing like it.

It’s not awfully warm but it’s been a lovely day here, managed to dry my washing outside on the line.

Re: Weather!

Great day for skiing. A bit of fresh snow, and occasional flurries falling. Really felt like winter again

Wow, the only thing I could have managed would have been actually washing it outside on the line.
Too bad the law and the use of soap in gardens don't agree, one could really make the most of this weather here otherwise.

The only thing that really bugs me about it is the lack of light.

Are you joking? Trolling? Or just become accustomed to the 'new normal'?

The temp in Zurich today is a few degrees warmer than the historical average daily high of 12.4 deg. for the month of April. Maybe it just seems cold to you because it has been so abnormally warm this year ( the average max temp. of 12.4 deg for April has been surpassed on 19 days so far this month. And not just by a degree or two, but often by 10 degrees or so)

It's one more or less normal day among many abnormally warm days, although it is forecast that Zurich will once again be warmer than the average max. temp. for the day.

How's that sand taste?
