First, you have to define "normal"

You don't feel at all guilty inflicting this weather on Germany?

Its not "usual " for this time of year. Extreme I would say

We are not getting abnormal amounts of rain for the time of year, that looks like a pretty normal forecast for autumn to me.

Do a bit research!

Too wet and yet too hot
The October 2019 was clearly too wet. In northern Ticino there were sometimes more than twice as much rain as usual in October. The sun was also practiced with restraint. Despite everything, it was around 2.5 degrees too warm in all of Switzerland.

Re: Weather!

I’m not disputing that global warming is having an impact on the weather but the weather we have had recently and are having now is really not that out of the ordinary for the time of year, certainly where we live.

You can’t have it all ways, you are happy for it to be unreasonably hot in summer yet complain when it is wet in autumn. You can’t pick and choose which bits of global warming you want to have.

Give me the sunny hot dry global warning anyday.

And anyhow the warming is coming from the inside of the earth-and there is nothing we can do.
Or maybe there is? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dIKwrRDAsY

I'd agree with that. Switzerland is being it's usual grey and wet self and unless it cheers up by adding a little snow it will more or less stay like this until March.

Actually, it is turning quite bright now. Desperate to go out foraging for shrooms - but this British cold is flooring me.

Re: Weather!

Drink enough shroom tea and you'll be too busy marvelling at the trails your hands make in the air to be bothered by a mere head cold.
