Re: Weather!

Careful out there.

A number of Christmas markets are cancelled due to forecasts of wind storms.

Yep, second that.
Felt it too this morning. Since I put the winter tires on, my car seems super sensitive to wind this year (not noticed it that much the other years). Had a pretty horrible time during a very strong Föhn-storm on Hasliberg the other week.

Re: Weather!

Crazy winds here in Basel this morning, since the wee hours.
There was driving rain earlier, but that seems to have tapered off - for now

One of the glaring problems is sunny days: my apartment shows every spec of dust :

Since I caved in and throw my money at swiffer, I have not dust-problems anymore.
Maybe I should google for swiffer windows-products. Still cheaper than a cleaner.

You're sure you don't mix MS windows up with those built in your walls?
We had quite some sunshine here the last two days. Enough to charge the solar-thingies inside my window at least enough for them to come alive for a short while.

The first sunbeams after all that rain did get me all excited, I admit.

You should have gone to the mountains. I had my first sun burn of the year yesterday.

We finally gave up accepting the thick fog and went on a quest for the sun on January 2nd. Found it in 'our backyard', Gurnigel massif , Bernese pre-Alps.

Magical views onto the sea of fog below us, as well as the view of some of the Bernese Alps

You're welcome
