Re: Weather!

Wind! Wind suddenly arrived. The forest is groaning loudly as if, suddenly, a long-distance cargo train were rushing by.

Re: Weather!

A light breeze. They always like to exaggerate here-gives them an excuse to say its " climate change "

Re: Weather!

Our trampoline is still there, no sign of any storm this morning at my village, 900m up in the Jura, mild winds and little rain.

It's 14 degrees in Geneve .. Light winds, dry.

Did I miss it overnight?

Re: Weather!

I still had my shutters a little while ago but the wind and rain are definitely picking up, just got soaked in 3min. People are walking around in the rain with closed umbrellas, it is too windy.

Re: Weather!

Well that was all a bit of an anticlimax.

It’s windy that’s for sure but nothing out of the ordinary and eveythinf is exactly where it’s supposed to be outside.

Re: Weather!

Pretty windy here atm, though it's calming down a bit. Bird feeder on the balcony railing was leaning a bit this morning. Some rain now.

Re: Weather!

I changed my flight yesterday to an earlier one, luckily. After 5 pm all flights to Zurich were cancelled and even all flights this morning. First one today will be at 3 pm......

Re: Weather!

Not very windy in Geneva at all today. Warm though - maybe 13C.

Re: Weather!

Zurich wind so far is super strong, but not too extreme yet. Enough to make sleep miserably unbearable, and umbrellas are out of the question. Not strong enough to make breathing hard (and not blowing me away yet--which isn't too hard).

They have to have something to dramatize for these completely unstimulated Zurchers!

Re: Weather!

There was a very short but really wild moment of hailstorm in Zurich on Tuesday afternoon.
We had a short, out of the black (it was already dark) thunder and lightning which was over as suddenly as it came.
If we have "April weather" now, how will it be in two months then?
