Much less though, it's gone now. | Quote: | | | | | It gets up to 22 degrees in a week or so | | | | | How I wish I could believe that. But as always you just bragged it out without back-up.

A good 20cm of the white stuff on the ground here and still falling albeit lightly now.
So glad I had a thoughtful neighbour seek me out to warn of the forecast in advance, otherwise I'd have spent the weekend pruning in readiness for spring, and today worrying about plant damage!

All gone now- but the 'bise' is FREEZING... so off to watch the rest of The Crown on Netflix.

Have you actually stepped out? It looks wonderful - but outside the bise cuts you in half

Sunny with blue sky here, recently we had a number of days of blue sky with practically no clouds.
I have a fact-free theory that the lack of clouds is due to the very much reduced number of commercial flights.

The lack of clouds is because of the dry Bise wind blowing from the NE.

Gorgeous and the bise has finally dropped. Will be out all afternoon working in garden- but can't wait for better temps next week and start sowing seeds in the veggie patches I shall finish preparing today- wood ash from the garden incinerator and finish empytying another compost bin.

Another fabulous sunny warm day- and the luminosity/light is amazing.
After OH's severe illness last year, and 2 knee replacements in successive years- the garden has been neglected- but will look fabulous this year |

first the virus. Now the sun is going to burn us up.
"Ozone levels are at record lows across many regions of the Arctic. This means that the protective shield for the earth from life-threatening UV radiation is thin as it has been for a long time." https://www.tagesanzeiger.ch/seltene...s-734814535930
and the Chinese are again being blamed for it.
