Move the green a bit aside and see the huge cracks in the ground everywhere. Soon I'll be placing little poles in them in our garden to avoid the little one breaking a leg in the garden.

Actually had a bit of rain today; first time in weeks. Nowhere near enough, but it's a start at least. Forecast is for more later this week, but it's been forecast before and never materialised. Hopefully this time it's right!

I feel like the opposite of most people here: when it is hot and sunny I get grumpy. When I see that there is rain in the forecast, I feel gleeful.

When it actually rains? I feel like my soul has just been hugged.
