Out of interest, did you use one of the offers on their website? 30% 50% etc.. book online vs calling..

Iím thinking to go soon..
Some friends booked it for us but we got a special price. I spent just one night, my wife did 2. I think I would have been bored silly had I stayed longer.

I"ll call them today and see if the phone price has a discount.. I'm kinda similar in terms of getting bored so we'll see how it goes.

Re: Weather!

I love water, so would never get bored- plus a good massage or two- bliss. But great walking and sightseeing in the region- so bored is really not an option. Get onto the website- all the offers are there. Oh and we can take our dog with

Grey and somewhat wet up here today.

11.00 sun is out, pheew.

Re: Weather!

Glorious again- not seen rain since last post here- and brilliant sunshine every day. I am quite sure I'd go crazy below the fog.

Re: Weather!

This weather is boring. Sunshine, cold, mostly blue skies

The only good point is that tonight we're going to a friend's house to look at Jupiter, Mars and Saturn through is telescope.

Out our windows: 50 shades of grey and corona. Is that like just reading the book?

Re: Weather!

In the Basel area we had one of the best snowfalls in years overnight, and it's still coming down!

Re: Weather!

Here, we are having one of the best snowy days that our 5 month old junior can experience. I was educating him what it feels like to touch a snowball in his hand. He accepted it and laughed to papa. Won’t do the same education when it comes to fire and burning wood

We had a dusting overnight, but that's it. Forecast is for more on Friday.

Re: Weather!

About 10 centimeters here, and still coming down.

Heffalump and The Devil Incarnate (aka Robin Goodfellow) spent the morning charging around the garden like loons, thrilled with the snow.

Happy Winter, one and all!

Re: Weather!

Just come in from shovelling patio and back drive - 25 cm and coming down thick and fast. The Alpine stone wood burner is belting - very cosy.

Freezing rain between 2 and 3am. So could be very icy underfoot.

Re: Weather!

We can see some white bits up on the Jura. We had rain overnight but not too much. The sun has come out now, but likely wonít last for long.

Re: Weather!

This took me by surprise when I woke up this morning.
(Nope, weather forecast is not something I invest time in). Specially as when I got home last night I explicitly thought that it was less cold than the past days.

However, the noise of the shovels was louder than necessary (not enough snow to actually use shovels, LOL) and the tops of the grass still stick out.
Still, that was nice.

Still snowing steadily. The weather has been so amazing lately that I forgot to get the winter tyres put on - will have to borrow OH's car to go to Tai-Chi in the valley tonight

Bah humbug.. I was out at 5.30 this morning and it was snowing nicely ..Roads hadn't been cleared yet so it was a fun drive..

Now it's a sea of green again outside. Bring on more snow!

I'm also close to Nyon, and I'm delighted to say that there is NO snow here whatsoever, and long may it remain so!

Still summer tyres on and therefore home office is compulsory.
