In my case, I'm wearing a short dress, stopping mid-thigh I normally hate showing my legs

I'm not so brave, mine's a floaty one with a wrap over, only shows a little bit of thigh if there's a sudden gust of wind or if I cross my legs when I sit down.

I am wearing Daisy Dukes and a wife-beater and I am 53. Don't try to picture it because then you cannot un-picture it.

I've been in hotpants since June! with various vests and tees, all of which are usually stuck on to my skin haha. I bathe or shower twice a day now. I hate being clammy! (sorry, tmi, gross!)

I have neither blow-dried my hair nor flat-ironed it for ten days now, due to multiple, multiple showers. My husband of 29 years looked at me yesterday and said, "Um, what's going on with your hair?"

Been so hot here inb Leukerbad- but much better yesterday after 2 rainstorms. Not too bad in Saas-Fee for our visit today- but boiuling here since our return to Leukerbad, and not a puff of wind! Will have to leave all windows opened to try and get through drought. Off to Faffleralp tomorrow, hopefully a bit cooler.

Oh, we missed each other in Saas-Fee by a couple of days! You could have heard me yodel! Must have been very quiet there now that all the yodellers, Fahnschwinger and Alpine Horn players have gone.

Me too, and my legs seem to be taking ages to tan!! My arms and shoulders are golden, but my limbs are still rather white. Apart from the tops of my feet!!

What if all you see and hear (kind of simultaneously) is a blinding light and a short duration sound that is like a high intensity spark? This happened last year and there were no accompanying rumblings.

If you can still stand and hear and see, then you HAVEN'T been struck by lightning If you are indoor, then the building (or object nearby) has been hit. No biggie

Not looking forward to this evening. The wind has whipped up here already in the Geneva countryside. Been out to make sure everything's put away. Washing only took 2 hours to dry! Brought it all in before my knickers end up in nextdoors garden.

We had a sleepless night because the baby was too hot to sleep and was feeling miserable. The two older ones are irascible and fight constantly. The fact the heat makes me short tempered certainly doesn't help

From down here it looks like maybe they are getting a good deal of rain up at St. Cergue as it is dark, gray and hard to see the dome.
PLEASE let the rain and cooler temps come down the mountain to our area! Please?!?!?!

Edit: 5 minutes passed from me seeing the weather to coming down to the basement/computer to type- went back up to the top floor and now I can see the dome fine and the dark gray has moved on. No rain for my garden today?

To save me camping out on the balcony at night these days ( besides not having enough room) I have stowed a couple of hot water bottles filled with cold water in the fridge. Bed time, i can place them on my feet or wherever needed, but especialliy I find under my shoulders and neck area help me to reach the land of nod with no fretting, that together with just a plain cotton sheet on top that I can pull on or push off as I like.
Keep cool till after school y'all, it will be over soon and then we will probably be moaning about the cold again.
