Last night the sky went dark at around 18 or 19h, then the wind really picked up a lot! And we could hear distant rumbles and then it stopped. We did get a storm over here at around 01h, it was quite a busy one and we had one big one that must have been quite close (we had window open but with shutters closed all but 1cm) I felt a bit frightened because it reminded me of the one on Monday. Instead of wanting to rush outside and try to video some big ones I wanted to hide in bed and my heart started racing (not in a good way ) I've never been scared before and I still want to love storms, I hope I won't be permanently altered by Monday's!

Very grey and drizzly now but it's nice and fresh. I've been out of the bath for a whole hour now and still not sweaty hurrah! The kids and I are going to enjoy a quiet day in with phones/tablets/books!

We went to beautiful Faffleralp in Lötschental and it was not too bad, yesterday, but when we stopped in Leuk to do some shopping, is was 39.5! And even up here in Leukerbad, 30C at 18.00.

Much better today after last night's rain- and very pleasant around Albinen this morning- but hotting up again- do they do cool spas here, instead of hot?

Did you lodge at Demeure des Elfes in Albinen? It was wonderful when we stayed there 3 years ago.

It's sweltering again

It was absolutely BOILING in Morat on Friday

Today it looked a bit grey for the first time in ages- so I thought the decorating would be easier, but it was sweltering again from 11am onwards- cooling off a bit now, pheeew.

Ahh the summer is back Plus the nights are cool now

I have to say, so far the summer is fantastic!
