With the exception of Sunday when it poured down all day ( but no fog) it's been absolutely beautiful here for the past week or two. The snow didn't stick around for mire than a couple of days.
Way too mild for the time of year and lots of things growing in the garden. I even have anemones in full bloom at the moment.
We are due some more snow here tomorrow and Thursday but that's not supposed to last long either with milder weather predicted for the weekend.

It's just gone very dark here in Geneva, started raining & the Saléve is disappearing under a huge bank of rain clouds.

Been snowing up on the Jura on and off all day. Just got back from the post office and it was snowing so hard it was difficult to see the road - eased off a bit now.

Lovely day yesterday. Was pouring with rain when we got up, and now that all the snow base has gone- it's snowing heavily. Those poor people in charge of the ski areas, both downhill and cx must be tearing their hair out.

Yes, you'd think they could plan it snows heavily on Fridays so the skiing is perfect on Saturday & Sunday,
Raining & grey in Geneva. The blackbirds are happily bouncing around pulling up worms.

It was almost perfect in Villars yesterday after thursday's snowfall But the snow is coming to the mountains. All next week should be snowing in the Vaudoises.

I have been to Zweisimmen yesterday for some skiing
Cloudy, at times almost sunny, until 13.00. Then, wind, lots of snow and 0 visibility: I had to come back to the station
And rain in Zweisimmen!

Pay more attention to short term weather forecasts next time

It's been very windy all afternoon here.

I got a warning from SRF about a rainstorm at Zürich Lake and Zug on Wednesday

Brrr... gone really cold out there. Big branch just broke off the tree because of the strong wind & hit the window.

Nice +10 degrees in Ehrendingen surpassed everyone's expectations. Perfectly fine during the day to go for long jog but it gets chilly in the evening. Cannot get better than that in winter

Besides the strong winds and heavy rains that have been hitting Basel the last couple of days, we just had a couple of thunder/lightning blasts. Exciting!! (and VERY happy to be inside on a night light this )

I am hearing something very suspiciously sounding like thunder and a real tempest outside
Have to check if everything is intact in my balcony...

WOW, it all went crazy about 30 mins ago- violent winds, horizontal snow, and yes, thunder and lighting and ptich black darkness. Was supposed to go to a meeting down in the valley but sent my apologies- no way am I going out!
