SNOWING!
Coming down fairly fast, big flakes and it's settling. Forecast was right for once. |

it's been snowing again since about 3pm after a lovely sunny day... and still snowing like crazy now (thought you'd guess considering the last few posts..)
So fabulous conditions and powder in all the Jura resorts, low prices and empty pistes. Enjoy.

I did guess - I was just playing along
Yes, it started snowing here in Basel about 4pm - I figured that it would melt just as fast as it came down. Instead, there is a thick, heavy blanket of snow on everything. It is beautiful | This user would like to thank DantesDame for this useful post:

Snowing again, started about 6.20pm. Has been trying on and off this afternoon, but looks like this time it means it. Don't think it'll put much down on the ground though.

As of now, the easyjet/jet2 flights between Stansted (also Birmingham, Leeds, and possibly more other airports) and Geneva are only until April 16.

What? I have an aller retour flight to Edinburgh on the 26th of April. Direct from Geneva.
Easyjet are offering silly cheap flights for around that time. My flight there and back is costing 135 francs and that includes checking in the suitcase full of saucisson vaudois, cheese and a few half price easter eggs!! And cow printed jammies for my great neice!!

Not for Leeds, Birmingham, or Stansted for sure. Several of these airports have flights only during the ski season. So, if the destination is somewhere in the midlands, then the only options are the London airports (except Stansted) or Manchester (or Edinburgh).

They've taken the snow poles away from our little road this afternoon. I expect the ones on the main road to go in the next day or so.

So this morning the sun was shining, the birds were singing, the warmth of spring was in the air.
And then it snowed.
Again.
Would someone please tell Mother Nature that the joke has gone on long enough?

For as much as I am looking forward to the warm breath of spring, I have to remember that after that comes the flaming breath of hell of summer. I'm trying to enjoy the cool temps while I can. | The following 2 users would like to thank DantesDame for this useful post:

One must figure out how to synch with this odd weather. I managed to get 1.5 hour of decent jogging session at 7 deg C and as soon as I came back home, it started snowing and the temp dropped. |
