fleas... surely

There are mosquitos around here too. I caught one last week and have had one bite so far.

He is extremely cute and there are definitely no fleas on him.

Stop moaning... In Toronto it is still snowing every couple of days with below zero till about 10:00 am, this after the crocus have started blooming, and the tulips are also showing.

Wow that's late, they've been going here for a few weeks already.

Saturday was obviously village mowing day as it seemed like everyone had their mowers out. The green collection day has been moved from Wednesday to Monday so anyone who wants the grass taken away before it goes manky in the bins has to mow on a Saturday now.

Everybody is holding fire up here in t'mountains- nobody in the hamlet wants to be the one to start the whole saga again

Must check the moon phase...Old folks, including my late dad- always said you must cut the first grass when the moon is decreasing, not ascending.

You'll have to wait a few weeks more then. The new moon is just beginning to appear again.

OH will be delighted to hear -as he is run ragged looking after me and cooking, etc.

Outlooks for the weekend are rather grim in the Léman area... And next week seems to be much colder so no summer tyres just yet.

Really? Meteocentrale is showing temps between 8 and 17 this week. No problem changing on to summers with those temps. Yes, going to be wet at the weekend, but summer tyres shouldn't be a problem.

Drizzling with rain here at the moment, but it's 11.6 outside.

He probably won't be quite so delighted when the grass is three feet high and it's taking him ages to cut it.

That's what I was thinking, Meteosuisse is showing the same for me and no significant drop in temperature despite the rain they are forecasting.
Hubby changed his tyres on Monday and I'm getting mine done tomorrow. I don't think there'll be any problems driving around here on summer tyres now, although they haven't removed the snow poles yet.

Meteoblue shows next week much colder, especially in the evenings and a lot of rain during the weekend. We will see what will transpire
