Pouring in Baden.
On the bright side, my new showerproof running jacket works. |

I envy you. I still have to take showers after running in my jacket. |

We did ours early because of going on holiday, but even if we hadn't we'd have probably changed by the 9th April at the latest cause wouldn't be expecting snow this late in the year down here.
Stopped now and didn't lay here, but the forecast yesterday was for a little bit of snow to lay overnight tonight so hoping that's wrong - otherwise the OH may have a bit of a hairy journey into work tomorrow!

No snow here and it's actually mostly sunny but it's a bit nippy to say the least.

well the monsoon has arrived in Switzerland. We can expect 2-3 months rain then a short summer where everybody complains about the heat and later says what a fantastic " summer" it was.

It isn't that hopeless after all.
Changed my winter tyres to summer tyres last week. Drove yesterday in pouring rain and that's all. There's a short snow fall this morning but it's vanished soon after. It's immediately subsided. Springing grass and flowers, lush spring arrival wouldn't let it last long.
Remember that April's weather is known to fluctuate between two seasons extremes. It can be quite astonishing. Long stormy spring-time,
wet contentious April,
winter chilling the lap of very May;
but at length the season of summer does come.

It's rough translation goes something like this: A month of April intermingles between two seasons winter and summer.
which is equivalent to:
Ne'er cast a clout till May be out

April brings the sweet spring showers...
on and on for hours and hours..
and from the same couple, Flanders and Swan, just to cheer you all up
June just rains and never stops
Thirty days and spoils the crops.
Of course, they were talking about British weather. which surely makes a difference.
I hope!
