It's the perfect place to be with your first coffee of the morning, reading about someone going apoplectic about the price of fish, bags on seats and yappy dogs, then seeing how far down the thread before someone mentions racism or some breathtaking generalisation about the Swiss.

If the free peoples of Europe and the United States (and their colonies) hadn't defeated Hitler and Stalin and their wicked authoritarian successors (a struggle, incidentally, for which Switzerland deserves no credit whatsoever), then nobody would be able to complain and the Complaints Corner wouldn't exist.
I, for one, am glad that Hitler, the Nazis and Stalin's cronies were sent packing and that the free peoples of Europe and the United States are free to express their disatisfaction with their lot in an open and unrestricted way, without fear of the sound of car doors slamming in the night and jackboots at the door. Aren't you?
Some people have no appreciation of the hard won freedoms of our peoples.
