Umm, so where do all the female porn-stars with short hair fit in all this?

Are they lesbians?

Um, ask Faltrad-I was just translating his explanation. He's the expert!

Re: Short Haired Women

I came across an interesting response to the article linked in the OP and thought I should post it here.

A sample:

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve made bigger ones in my life. But choosing to behave consciously as if the sexual attention and comfort of men is not my top priority has made more of a difference to how my life has turned out than I ever imagined.

Beauty is in eyes of beholder. Either short or long her is never an issue for me. However there are parts of the body that should always be shaved for both hygienic and pleasantness purposes

Indeed. I ritually shave my husband's buttocks every Tuesday night.

You do realise that a lot of older women with long hair have hair extensions don't you. Might look OK but not too good to the touch.

Yeah, recently I saw big bald patches in the Kardashian's hairs somewhere on the Internet. It becomes a vicious circle.

You also have to appreciate the concept of the whole situation ....... strong, powerful, villainous, sadistic - and with short hair.
so you're saying you'd like to be dominated and punished by a guy in drag?

Um, I'm not really understanding the direction this thread has taken. Can someone please explain what brazil has to do with short haired ladies? If its too hard to explain, I suppose a picture would have to do.

My hair is 2ft long and I don't spend 1,5hr daily drying it. Hiking to work with wet hair builds character, Heathcliff.
Exxxactly! I've had long hair (a bit shorter than yours I think; trying to measure with a school ruler) my whole life, and I've always considered it the easy way out. Wash it, slap on and rinse off some conditioner, and either put a towel on my pillow and go to bed or, as your plan—hoof it out and about wet. Dries soon enough. No dye, no "product," no blow dryers. It'll be shiny and in good health for another 30 years I bet. Short hair means diligent hair cuts. Long hair? Two or three times a year for a trim is good. Anything more is too high-maintenance.

So, while I *do* believe that some women are rendered even more beautiful with short hair, I agree that it's easy to notice how many women in Switzerland sport short hair as opposed to long. Don't know why that is because it's not the upkeep savings.

Re: Short Haired Women

Maybe it is because some/most(?) hairdressers recommend high maintenance hairstyles that are good for business - a customer returning every few weeks is preferable to one that can stay away for long stretches at a time...

Which is exactly the reason why I hate most hairdressers, (except POS xx). They make me crazy and cost a fortune, to only make you feel bad.

Ugh!!!

Yes.It seemed the same in Germany, too. Practicality. While I think long hair is the most practical I can imagine, coz you get the routine down after a while and it's really no hassle, it looks good and feminine, hair stays healthy ( no products, dyes, gels, hair drying..some oil treatment sometimes ). Others I think consider short hair a lot more practical, it does not get in a way. It's just not there to worry about.I think it's too...ordinary, or what not, but understand why some people opt for it. Or Mom when she had 3 little kids. Then we begged her to have her hair back, heh.
