Nice catch. On the other hand, I've recycled posts on different forums myself before (although mostly recipes and such) so I think "fraud" is a bit too strong. If they're her words and that's really how she feels... well, nothing says you can't feel the same way in 2008 and again in 2014, or use the same words to discuss it. And if you do, most of the same advice/commiseration/criticism probably still applies.

Still, if nothing's changed after eight years in the country, maybe the OP is a hopeless case after all.

You made an account here to tell us that? (not that I don't appreciate, btw)

I wonder who's doing his/her research project here. Or something.

Six years (plus whatever the "recently married" bit amounted to). And we don't know that things haven't changed. These things are often cyclical, maybe in the meantime she's fallen back in love with Switzerland and back out again.

Or maybe they're not her words at all and she's copy-pasted the whole thing from that other forum just to get a discussion going. No way of knowing and so we might as well give her the benefit of the doubt. Frankly it makes little difference to me whether I'm replying to an internet stranger or to that person's quote from a different internet stranger - my advice (did I give the OP any advice? can't remember now and can't be bothered to reread the whole thread to find out) would have been the same either way.

Or the OP just researched the internet to copy and paste a controversial message about CH to fire up the place and is since sitting back and enjoying the show.
I don't mind the fake, forums are about entertainment anyway.

it is quite worrying that trolls that just copy texts, create the more interesting threads.

Judging from the length of the thread, one might think to start a thread by trolling, except of course if somebody comes and warns, "DON'T FEED THE TROLL!!!"

It is kind of an hilarious vicious circle that some people here do not seem to see (which is why I started that very thread; btw I decided not to accept that offer after really thinking about the country in deeper... through friends, gut... and this forum has been and is a very interesting eye-opener).

It is very funny that those two-three last weeks I chatted with friends and acquaintances that live there, even peeped on their Facebooks to have a glimpse of what life in CH could be, and in some of them I could see this "Swissophile" attitude (CH is perfect VS the rest of the world is a shithole) that I could not stand.

The thing here is that I don't think the OP "hates" Switzerland, as the "groaners" seem to believe.

She just can't stand living in a society that does not accept any criticism or any behavior that does fit into a very narrow mindset.

And then every 3 comments someone just writes how great CH is because of safety and trains running on time... They just don't get it... because you can only live happily there once and only you accept no criticism is allowed (back to my thread).
Anyone who takes what is written on an open forum as 'gospal' isn't very bright, I'm sure the company you turned down dodged a bullet.
