Broken glass bottles on the roads

Got a flat tire cycling in Basel. The cause was a broken bottle.
I have noticed that every time Roger Federer wins or some other similar event triggers the stupid Swiss pride, people decide to celebrate by throwing glass bottles on the roads. This is not the first time I encounter broken bottles on Swiss roads. I am getting sick and tired. Between my car and bicycles being vandalized on the street, and this, I am saying a big F.U. to the vandal Swassholes. Well, maybe these acts are committed by the foreigners. Yes, definitely, that's it, the foreigners did it!

Re: Broken glass bottles on the roads

You think you've got problems?
Where I live, there is still confetti in the roads, gutters and verges, three weeks after fasnacht ...... and that's despite rain, snow and wind.

Bloody Swiss roadsweepers.

Re: Broken glass bottles on the roads

Try biking down Langstrasse in Zurich. Then you will know about glass.
The road sweepers do clean every day at 5am. But still, soo much glass

You should see the streets when Roger Federer loses...

Re: Broken glass bottles on the roads

I don't know anything about bottles in the road, or the "dumb" part of your EF name, but could you at least change the "American" part? your English blows, it's sufficiently stilted that I can actually hear your accent when I read it.

thanks.

dumb_American: how lovely to have you back. Go troll elsewhere, please; if you want to post here on EF, play nicely, or you won't be posting at all.

Yes, that's a veiled threat.
