Reader survey

Just got asked to do the reader survey, which I accepted because hey, I use EF and while I know it's for marketing purposes, they've earned a bit of latitude.

Anyway, I closed it with 92% complete because there's no opt-out on the salary questions. I've done marketing surveys, I've used them professionally as a tool, I've written the damn things, and salary has ALWAYS had an opt out.

But not here. So, they lose my other demographic data (which is quite adequate to extrapolate my segment) because they can't offer due courtesy of an opt out.

Sigh.

I think I might have filled this out last week just to find out what it was all about.

Since I accidentally picked the wrong answer for the first question and there was no option to go back and rectify it I just basically randomly answered the rest of them.
