| | Books not allowed in CH?
So this is the SECOND time my book ,that I ordered on Amazon.de, has been mysteriously returned before I ever received it. WTF? I just sent Amazon an email asking who returned it but I'm guessing it must be customs.
Anyways the book I ordered is the latest edition of the Encylopedia of Cannabis. I would like to do more research on the medical properties of cannabis like how it cures cancer, ms, epilepsy, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, arthritis, autism, etc, etc.
It seems they don't want me to have this information, which I can easily find on the Internet but I prefer books. I understand the pharma mafia is strong here but I didn't know it was so bad that they would ban books on a cure for cancer and other illnesses.
Anyways the info is out, they are losing the battle to alternative medicine and they know their cancer management therapy is obsolete. Cannabis doesn't help patients who undergo chemo, Cannabis IS chemo but better cause it actually kills cancer cells and tumors while leaving all heathy cells intact.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems very odd that's it's been returned twice already.

I think it is more likely your address is wrong on Amazons system.

I agree with neddy. There's more likely to be a problem with the postal address or delivery service.
There are many books on cannabis available in Switzerland so it would surprise me if foreign language ones were banned.

I should note that I am not totally anti pharma, I do realize they make excellent drugs that are life saving in emergency situations.
P.s thanks for the groans, do your own research if you disagree.

Yes, I confirm that the Basel Cabel of Pharma Reeducation intercepted your book and returned it. As you say, we need to protect our profits somehow and this is an effective way to stop it.
Don't bother fighting us, we have 100s of people working in our department and have paid lackeys installed at all post office sorting facilities.
Sure, you buy in Germany and bring it in by hand, but we find that few people will bother to do that.

Loosely related .. But a month ago I ordered an Ant+ dongle from amazon.. Basically a usb stick..
Chasing it up with the shipper UPS, according to their tracking.. Item opened at CH customs, not allowed for import, returned to sender.
WTF .. I can buy it in digitec, just for twice as much.

List of goods restrictions for import. http://www.ezv.admin.ch/zollinfo_pri...x.html?lang=en
Neither the book nor the USB stick seem to fall foul of them, so perhaps an over enthusiastic customs person (or someone on the export side).

I had totally innocent package not delivered twice. DHL claimed it was incorrectly addressed. As it was the same address I always use I can only assume it was either an honest mistake or the delivery guy was too lazy or maybe the label got damaged or something like that.

I grow it, I'm making medicine out of it cause my uncle in law is dying. If they want it then they can come and get it, I have nothing to hide. Ever since he started "traditional" therapy his health has gone down the drain in a accelerated rate, as well as his bank account.

Tin foil hat? Did you come up with that all on your own?

The THC may not really be the active healing ingredient. But should they ever ban THC, and allow only extracted CBD, then that would take a lot of fun away from it, and the party may soon be over.

THC is the main compound that kills cancer cells according to lab reports. CBD is anti psychotic so a 1:1 ratio wouldn't get you very high at all even if it had 15% THC.
