Nettoshop is the worst mail order company at least IMHO!

Thirty six emails later, and I still do not have the small fridge that I need, have not yet sorted out the credit they owe me, etc. etc. etc. Such poor communication.

Live and learn...aka Never Again with Nettoshop!

Rant over.

I am seriously happy for you. I, however, have had nothing but problems. Which is why I am posting in "Complaints corner".

I wish I had the same experience as you...my life would be far less stressed!

Sorry to hear you have a problem, I have used them recently and was quite happy with their service. They could not supply one item in time so I was offered an alternative. I would go old school and pick up the phone, it was one of the reasons I used them as there is actually someone to answer the phone and in English!

Yes, I had ordered from them once before and it was fine. So, I thought I'd give them a go this time. Perhaps if there are no or few issues then they are okay.

But this time, I've had problems with getting a damaged fridge, wrong dimensions, then getting charged CHF 75 for needing an exchange (due to their wrong dimensions) and finally I chose another larger fridge and was told that it was not shipped because I never paid for the difference.

Days went by without getting the fridge delivered after I actually ordered it, and so I called this morning. I was then told, we (Nettoshop) assumed you knew we were not going to charge you and that you had to pay us again! How? Who knows. Nowhere was there an orange slip attached or any indication such as "awaiting your payment before shipment"), etc. I thought they were going to use the credit card on file since no further indication was made on their part. This is what most companies do.

Despite having the email about the difference in cost from them right in front of me where no indication was made, the woman on the phone kept insisting that it said it must be paid separately. "Would you like a screenshot so you can see it does not say that?" "Um, no."

So, it finally got sorted I hope though in the most stressful, roundabout and poorly communicated way. I just hope this new fridge does not come damaged either.

Whatever the situation was, I really like it when a shop cares enough for one of their customer representatives to come on to the forum and try and help the customer in order to avoid long-term bad feelings.

Perhaps I expressed myself a little wrong! I hope everything goes well with the new fridge (when it arrives), otherwise I'm available.. That's why I wrote maybe after 36 mails Konuku won't hear anything from us anymore! From the post I cannot tell if the new fridge is already paid an on the way or not and to find out I need an order number (if desired).

Thank you, Celia. I really do appreciate your response. Quite unexpected too! I totally understand your reasons for not being able to charge my card again. I just wish someone had told me. I was desperate for the fridge 2 weeks ago when I placed my original order so you can imagine how much I need it now. I am using it for work, so I cannot do some projects without it at the moment.

If I have any other issues, I will let you know.

Shopped plenty of times with them. No issues, faced ever.. the customer service was also good...
ordered an Air Conditioner with them last summer.. as it was getting delayed, I was offered an alternative, which costed more .. when I refused, they refunded my money within few days... and what's more I was offered a small discount coupon for future use for the inconvenience caused...always rated them highly at toppreise ..

I bought recently a couple of things, and have right now an order on its way. No problems and great customer service! Glad to see that a business that actually cares for customer service is making its way in the market, keep the hsandar!
