Farmville?
I actually had to ask my husband what Farmville is. As I said, I am not on Facebook and I do not play games these days. I must admit I would not be able to resist a bout of Super Mario if it was on offer though.

It was an actual farm and it was really lovely. We even baked bread on sticks. I must admit the beauty of green fields bathing in the setting sunlight made me appreciate how beautiful the nature in Switzerland is.

Back to the OP, all those pages ago, his only problem is that he can't find a woman. He thinks people find him ugly, he only goes to clubs... and he blames it.
I thought he said it a little tongue in cheek. His first post included many other things that he finds annoying here.

this reminds me on swiss CV - the only CV in the worlds that needs that picture of your face on it to be taken seriously (and get judged by swiss machine). In other countries this is heavily inappropriate, if not illegal.

I think we've nailed your problem.

Is it usual to take livestock with you when you go clubbing in Russia?

The first two yes, and 3/4 of my ancestors do.

Hell, until my Swiss wife married me, she even had a Polish name. Her great grand-father came here from Russia as a political refugee in 1864, and had no problem in finding a Swiss woman, or becomming Swiss.

So, watcha wanna talk about?

Tom

Don't you think that you are narrowing down the pool of potential advisors just a little bit?

Including "please" doesn't make your post any more acceptable.

there are many countries where this is perfectly normal. I wouldn't do it either though.

I am sure one day the society will reach such a level of liberalism that it will be OK to take your goat or poultry to the clubs.

How rude, no wonder he can't pull if he talks to ladies like that.

Hey OP, when you have lived here for more than nine months your ridiculous comments may be taken seriously.

You sound like a big, headed know it all.

My coc* is probably bigger than yours.

Why not?

Many people all over the world have to work doing things they dislike, in places they dislike, in order to support others.

It's easy to dismiss the importance of earning money from safe, secure, wealthy comfortable Switzerland.

The safety net Swiss citizens have is unimaginable in many other countries. The salaries earned here are in many fields difficult, perhaps impossible, to replicate elsewhere. Heck, in many places jobs of any kind are not easy to find.

When one has responsibilities - be they financial, personal, familial - one is not a free agent, one cannot simply walk away when unhappy. When that Swiss salary is needed to support others, one's own likes and dislikes often have to take a back seat.

Re: 9 months in Switzerland - a honest report.

I get that - but then you have to stop biting the hand that feeds you and spit on it constantly- for your sake, as well as others around you - or your life will be very miserable indeed- try and make it work, somehow - and appreciate the good parts.

Same in a marriage, or in a job - if you hate it that much, do something about it.

Mhhh, perhaps this is the core of the problem: OP's attitude. At any rate, insults definitely won't get him far.

While I agree with your post in general, if memory serves this doesn't apply to OP, I think he said he stays for another couple months until he's got the money for the next flight. Although this doesn't really ring true, seeing how cheap flying is these days.

Where did you learn this attitude?

Did your grandmother teach you that? Would she approve of it?

If your cousin, son, or mother-in-law worked as a sales assistant, would be you be happy for them to have customers approach them in this manner? Do you think they would come home after a day's work, having met customers with this attitude, feeling they had been treated respectfully and with good manners?
Doropfiz, I didn't interpret kedi's post the way you did. She didn't say she's approaching the shop assistants like this, she discribed her thoughts after interactions with certain sale staff. It's their apparent arrogance that makes her have this thought process. Thoughts, mind, not manners. I am sure there were times when you thought something bad about a rude person, but kept your mouth shut and then commented with a friend or someone close to you.
I can't believe people are so willing to misjudge some posts.

I don't think I would agree with that, the Swiss are generally rather reserved which hardly could ever translate into the 'friendliest', however much you are a fan of CH that would be fanboy speak at best.
I was saying they are not the friendliest...
