I received an email from thelocal.com about 10% discount.
But, when I tried to use the promo code to book tickets to Asia, I got the same price when I book and leave the promo code blank.
Anybody tried? Bad rep for the local.

They may be trying to tell us something.

That promo code is all over the net; it cost The Local nothing and as far as I can tell does nothing.

Qatar are in the middle of a sale. They had a flash sale yesterday to any city in Japan from Amsterdam or Brussels, for under €650 return in business class. It's worth checking their website daily, and pricing up potential journeys, until the sale ends.

I assume, the selected members are the ones who receive the email, no?

let's change the title to "The Local is useless"
