I didn't get a survey. I feel unloved.

P.S. I hope everyone said they lived in Swedenish.
Me neither but my browser blocks pop-up windows. Seems like it's doing a good job.

terrible survey, so i gave terrible answers. lets all select the option that we want the local to organize and offer member holiday tours... that sounds like an absolute idiotic idea!

Re: EF Survey - tosh

Maybe the survey was conducted in one of the official EU’s languages according to this guide:

```*This is Absolutely Brilliant*
The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".
In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.
In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.
Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.
By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".
During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensi bl riten styl.
Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi TU understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.
Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas.
If zis mad you smil, pleas pas on to oza pepl.
And Congratulations you have learnt German within minutes...```
Re: EF Survey - tosh
Just received that survey too.
One of the questions was on salary, with all the options in Euros.
Seeing my salary is payed in CHF and not on EUR, my EUR salary is actually zero. That is what i selected.
The lst of countries doesn't actually list a single real country. But i selected Luxembourger as I like to eat Luxemburgerli.
What exactly are they trying to find out with this survey?
The only question it's worth asking EFers in a survey - how awkward and bloody minded can you be?
They seem to have set it up with plenty of scope for that...
They'll have some survey results to show potential advertisers that they have done some research about their user base.
Watch out for new ads offering special deals in Sweden and Swaziland.
Re: EF Survey - tosh
ah, and the link at the end directs you "back" to Toytown Germany.
Seems as though they are trying to prove to advertisers how little they actually care about the EF.
I used Middlesex as an example of a County (Abfab has now corrected her original post changing County to Country) as I'm totally PC and Middlesex is neither male or female.
Whereas Abfab is either male or female -- and it's not the gender you picked.
By the way, the OP still has "county".
Male with a female persona, a cross-dresser or trans-gender: who cares? There's probably loads on this forum and who am I to judge?
I always assumed the avatar was a real photograph of AbFab. I did think s/he looked awfully like Penelope Keith.
Because clearly that's you in your avatar...
Also, everybody on EF uses their real names.
