A poem.

On some days

(only on some days)

living here in Switzerland

feels like that time when you were young

and you spent a week at your distant relatives' house,

where the curfew was 8:30

and all of the laundry

smelled weird.

Re: A poem.

Today's good though, no?

Sun's out and it's Friday.

Laundry doesn't pong so much and you can go to bed late!

Re: A poem.

True, today is not that day!
Pretty enough outside to hang the laundry on the line, so all it smells like is fresh air.

Re: A poem.

I present a haiku.

Today is a good day.
Its going to be the weekend soon.
I'm probably getting quite tipsy.

Dyslexic friends call her Vagina
But her real name is Geneva
The lake was blue, shops full of "chocolat"
I was made up, I felt "Joyeux"
It took two days or just under
The Mont Blanc Bridge to cross over.

Tom's son looked in shock and dread
as his hands began turning red
but the teacher wouldn't budge and ruled
that Tom's poor son is selber schuld.

Well, a teacher should be inspiring. She's got that one done.
