Re: Train Station Toilets

2 logical explanations:

1. "Madame Pipi" had a crush on you and just fancied a shag in the loo with you!

2. She was the Vice President of the Swiss Yodel Federation and thought you were completely wrong when pushing those high notes, she was only trying to help!

How many times you actually did that? Someone will knock your teeth out, if you still have any left

Being SEN I guess I deserve at least 6½ min, maybe a full 7

Use the loo above 15min and I'm all for getting you out (unless you yell something that would make me think twice )

On aircraft toilets (especially in Economy class) I'd say the limit should be 5min. Stay longer than that, and I'll happily open the toilet (flap up, move the slider, and it's open, easy as 1-2-3, by the way..)
Wha....? I would need a few minutes just to wipe the toilet seat and plaster it with toilet paper. Seriously, I think someone who's using a train station toilet must be really desperate....I'd have compassion, not anger.

The McClean ones at Zurich main station are cleaned after every use.

I think I have a better one - this was in Basel. At the moment. During Fastnacht. After an all nighter? I guess the OP did not look as OK as he thought he did... If I was a cleaner would I also kick the guys out who are probably going to make a worse mess than taking a dump.

Ah, the joy of the McClean ones. I took it that Yuropflyer was talking about how long one is allowed to use a public toilet...everyone is different.
I'm with the poster who asked how many times did he try to take people out of the loo after 5 minutes...

Lol, here

I am SEN myself.. so.. it will depend on how many stars you got

I only used that when flying with friends as a prank (and the crew allowing it etc) - knowing how something works doesnt mean I have to use it

These Zuri WC's open automatically after a max period.
Not sure how long. But pretty embarrasing

So, I've always had a world class experience, for me, using the bathrooms in the train stations here. Today though, not so much. I look like semi normal guy. Even not yet going to sleep after an allnighter in Zurich. However, my stomach is a bit quezzy and I needed to take extra long in the toilet. But I'm not actually "done". But I just got kicked out of the toilets. Is there a time limit or kilo weight capacity you're allowed in there? I've never took the time to look for a rule book. First she told me "gehts", rather yelled it at me. Then she unlocked the door and rushed me mid "motion". Do I have to get off the pot and pay 2 CHF each time I "pass" one out? Why the aggressiveness? It's not like I was doing any kind of incredible moaning or crashing noises.
I'm out of change now and a little perplexed at what to do next. This happened in Basel btw.

I am tempted to think she might have thought you need some emergency assistance - to be stuck on a toilet 20min and not communicate really? Maybe she worried you had a stroke. Or maybe she was curious. Fetish? Anyways. I wish I was not eating when I clicked on the thread.

Re: Train Station Toilets

20 minutes is a really long time so I am not massively surprised that there was a misunderstanding, breakdown of communication, and some action taken.

I wouldn't dump all over her for trying to do her job.

Re: Train Station Toilets

Can't confess to having read all the answers in this thread (not particularly interested in a point by point monitoring of several EFers bowel movements).

Personally, would recommend https://www.dulcolax.com/.

But it does raise questions whether this is a Swiss this thing this time of year. I believe so, and was certainly my first sign of illness.

Re: Train Station Toilets

Duphalac is also recommended

http://www.mydr.com.au/medicines/cmi...ac-oral-liquid

And its official

"Maximal 15 Minuten hat man Zeit, dann öffnet sich die Türe; für behinderte Menschen verlängert sich die Zeit automatisch auf 30 Minuten." Steht in " geschäft " Bedingungen!

Re: Train Station Toilets

I was in the toilet at COOP " bau and hobby" in Oerlikon. Someone had drilled a hole between the adjoining partion in the shit house. Maybe they wanted to test the new drill they bought from COOP!
