Vietnamalan has made some interesting contributions
when I leave Switzerland I'm going to open up a Swiss restaurant

1) I will sell cheeseburgers for $25 apiece
2) I will be open only from 12-1:30 and 6-8 PM
3) I will charge extra for water, ketchup, and eye contact
4) I will tell patrons I don't speak English even though I am fluent
5) The only flavor options I will offer are "natural" and paprika
6) It will be at least 30 minutes before I take your order

Please add if you have any suggestions. I actually like Switzerland but the food leaves something to be desired...

Bruh, if you could open one here in the US that served an authentic fondue (la religieuse and all), I would be happy to come when you were open, pay for bottled water, and wait more than 30 minutes!

How much money can I make with eye-contact (as I'm good at it) and how long should a look be before you complain I'm staring?

D'you mean there's a restaurant in Switzerland where I can go and, for a fee, be sure to get eye-contact? Can I pay more for an extra helping?

Wanna be my first client? No need to pay for a crappy, American hamburger on top of it.

Still waiting for that info from OP. Will get back to you - need a written offer?

You mean you'll do it only if you have an employment contract to work for OP? But then you'll be abroad (with a permit). I, however, want to consume the menu item "eye contact" here in Switzerland.

I suggest you move to the USA if your idea of a restaurant is somewhere that serves cheeseburgers.

7. I will pay my staff $25 an hour so customers don't have to pay a 20% service charge to get a fake smile and a "have a nice day!!!!!"

Well since, according to your profile, you've never arrived here it's going to be a bit difficult to leave.

2a) Any customers arriving from 12:30/7:00 onwards will be informed in no uncertain terms that they must have finished their meal by 1:30/8:00, as that's when the restaurant closes.

I was in the US a couple of years back and not one waiter spoke German to me. I know they are all fluent so it must be sheer bloody mindedness.

Back in the real world, every restaurant I know where they can speak some English tries. However I also know plenty where they can't speak English.

Mine will be simples:

6) A list of overpriced pizzas (Hawaian, Curry, etc.).

7) Dessert menu will be a list of overpriced ice cream flavors.

Re: when I leave Switzerland I'm going to open up a Swiss restaurant

Mine would be vegetarian and with a team and a menu from all over the word, Hiltl style....I would keep even the interior designer who's done the one in Sihlstrasse. There's something very appealing and cosy in there. Actually, I would improve the menu, I would take it a few steps further.

I've been to Swiss Chalet in Canada a few times. It's waaaaay better than any of the restaurants here.
