Re: brack.ch - steer well clear!!!!

I like Brack. One of the few online shops that still sends you goods with an invoice. No need for credit cards or to pay in advance. Don’t like the goods? Don’t pay for them and send them back.

Write an angry post on an expat forum. That will teach them!
It has actually worked on here before, with a couple of companies (Deindeal rings a bell), where this has been seen by their Customer Service department and they've created a user on here to solve the problem. So no need to mock the afflicted!

That is literally the opposite of what has happened here. The OP has tried to send it back for a refund and only been given a credit note.

If I buy anything from a company which I have not used before, I usually do a quick search on here in case people have had problems with that particular company before.

I have used Brack before (last time was last week) but after reading this thread, I may avoid them for larger purchases where a credit note in lieu of a refund would be a real pain.

Like Chuff, I also prefer the TopPreise ratings.
The problem here is that evidence is anecdotal and for 1 bad experience there are often 5 good ones if you read the threads.

I use Toppreise too. Not all companies use Toppreise.

As I wrote, if a company has a policy of issuing a credit note for a mistake that is theirs, I would avoid using that company for a large purchase.

It's not a case of one package going missing or arriving a day late - it's a fundamental principle which I think is wrong.
