Travel or not to Asia

Hi There
I wasn't so sure where would this fit so I'm trying it here...
Would you travel to Singapore and Thailand if you had everything booked with the fear of possibly getting the Corona virus within the next few weeks?
Has anyone been there recently or plans on going?
I am getting a bit worried as I always get all possible flus here in Switzerland...
Thanks for your reply!

Statistically, you have a higher change of getting struck by a missile. Only you can make the decision whether to travel or not to especially if it's a holiday. But yes, the world needed one more overblown scare right now as it was getting boring.

With the number of Chinese visiting Switzerland, you’re probably just as likely to catch it here as in Thailand or Singapore!

Would I? Absolutely. But then I went to places even when Bern explicitly told us not to (and I was not one minute of my stay in any danger or miss-comfort).

If you worry, the virus will probably seek you out.
More realistically; If you worry you might not be able to enjoy your trip much.
On the other hand, cancelling it all and get hit by a roof tile at home would be a very frustrating way to end your life.

But it's not something anybody can decide for you.
