Microspot - refund/repair question
 
I bought a Samsung combination microwave from Microspot at the beginning of last month. I tried the convection oven feature a few days in and realised that it cuts out when it gets too hot, which is not ideal for an oven.

Anyway I instigate a return within 14 days fully expecting a refund. I then go ahead and order a different model from Microspot because I really cannot be without an alternative. I wrote two follow up emails to Microspot to tell them that I expect a refund and hear nothing back.

Fast forward a month and a parcel arrives, its the original Samsung microwave which they say they have repaired.

Do I have a legal right to demand a refund as the item was faulty on arrival?

Unless the T&Cs of Microspot say otherwise, they have no obligation to refund or exchange the item. Their only obligation is to fulfill the guarantee requirement, which is to repair the item. I haven't bothered reading Microspot's terms and conditions, but assume you did so when you bought the item and clicked the appropriate box on their website.

Its been sorted now thanks to lost_inbroad, he made a call and they agreed to a refund of microwave #1
