I hired a company to rebuild a glass wall for me Glasbausteine and they messed it up.

I didn't pick the cheapest offer and decided for an AG vs Gmbh to avoid such issues.
Now they finished it and they messed-up on the measurement, the last two blocks are 1cm+ inside the ceiling and doesn't look that nice. They should have started from a lower point which they had the extra space.

Is asking them to rebuild it too much? It was kinda of a novice mistake in my opinion. they had enough space and making the error in the other direction (to far from ceiling) would have been better.

I have only four reserve glasbausteine and if i ask them to rebuild it, in the process of removing the blocks they may break them or I may have to order more which is another couple of weeks.

Have you told them you aren't happy with the result?

Any next steps depend on what their response is (and obviously you need to go to someone in authority, not the bricky).

I've had a couple of issue with work done, but they've always come up with a solution that I was happy with.

Also consider how flexible you are - maybe they do something nice to hide the top, and knock something off the cost, is that OK?

So the ceiling isn't level and they found they had to cut into it to make the last bricks in the row fit, right?

Paint it over the spoilt part with colour of the ceiling so that the 1cm mismatch is negligible.
