Re: Washing machine is broken grrrrrrr

Why don't you try to reset the program and run the drying cycle (centrifuge, I do not know in English). Should remove the water from the washing chamber and make the machine start thinking again.

Yikes! They will not shrink if the temp is 30degrees, they might if it is 40. What's worse, they will probably go moldy if they have to sit there more than a day . Isn't there an "emtpy" button? I think it is "vidange" on our washer. How about unplugging it from the socket? Shouldn't it release the electric lock?

I don't know. We all have our off days. This seems like its more an off day for any technology you've happened to come into contact with...

Go for something strong... It's home time now, So I'll probably do the same... Jaeger Tea, i think...

Re: Washing machine is broken grrrrrrr

It could be that the water outlet filter is blocked so water can't drain and thats why the washing machine won't let you open the door.

On my old Swiss washing machine there is a small flap at the bottom of the machine, and if you open it you can manually drain the drum into a bucket which should release the door catch. Then just pull out the small cylinder filter and make sure its not covered in bits of bobble.

It's probably a latching circuit or some such and needs a electrical signal to unlock....

Theres always the hammer and chisel option.
