Problems With Ikea Fridge Freezer

Does anyone have an Ikea fridge freezer that has problems with icing up on the back and creating 'floods' at the bottom? Also too much condensation on glass shelves and then water drips all over food (causing it to rot much more quickly) We're on to the second one (they replaced the first) and we were told that it could be due to open watermelon in the fridge (never mind that we lived in Madrid at 40c in the summer, fridge stuffed full of watermelons, etc. and it's still going strong after 14 years (and it was even cheaper than the IKEA one, if that's possible).
Thanks for any feedback.
I wrote a much longer thread, but lost the whole text when I was automatically logged out, and have run out of energy to tell you the whole watermelon story!!
