Re: Have you already experienced hayfever or allergie?

I saw crocuses, snowdrops, these little guys

and other spring flowers blossom, so I assume, people can definitely experience already some allergies..

Okay, so I guess a visit to the chemist must be put on my to-do-list!

Re: Have you already experienced hayfever or allergie?

So no, it doesn't count as it's not the same, but I feel sorry for you, although in your case it will just last a few days, not like me.

Re: Have you already experienced hayfever or allergie?

I did read somewhere that they were expecting the hayfever season to kick in a little earlier this year.
I haven't had any symptoms yet, but I'm dreading the arrival of a pouring nose and itchy eyes.

Re: Have you already experienced hayfever or allergie?

Yep, already experiencing some myself - so far not so bad in the nose (or maybe the nasal spray is *that* good, used it once a couple days ago), but my eyes are itchy and last night I started the wheeze again.

Would it not be too early?
I've been sneezing like it's Springtime, and for me it's very early. Normally I don't develop Springtime allergies until May, sometimes June.

Why Keinefransozich as username?

But otherwise yes exactly like me, it usually starts in May/June. Maybe it's because we had a short winter?

You can see the pollen forecast here:
http://www.meteoswiss.admin.ch/web/d...prognosen.html

...it's generally the "Gräser" that affects the majority with runny nose and sneezing. I think it's around June, you can see historical data here:

Sorry to say but for an injection you are a bit late. I started last year in December with the trees and now in February the grasses have their turn. I have each Friday a tennis ball bump on my arm and I reaaaallly hope it will help. Till now I am stocked up with tabs and inhalation spray and had the first reactions a while ago.

hmm...somehow all that snow was not so bad after all !!

Not for me, I usually get it really bad starting in April, and it is probably Birch pollen, one of the most allergenic.

There must be different kind of injections then because the one I take is injected to me after I have tried several zyrtec or zirtec don't remember how it is spelt sorry. What do you think?

Re: Have you already experienced hayfever or allergie?

Try Aerius - the absolute bestest - and I've tried pretty much everything from A-homeopathic to Zyrtec (except desensitization). Prescription only, but well worth a quick visit to a doc. It doesn't make you drowsy like Zyrtec.

Happy Hayfever Season...

Re: Have you already experienced hayfever or allergie?

Hubby has started with hay fever, hazel at the moment, but we're dreading the birch season, him because of the horrible symptoms, me because I have to live with him!
Actually I have hay fever too, but I think hubby must have 'man hay fever'.

I thought I had a cold with runny eyes and nose but now it could be the trees-living close to a forest !

Looks liek I'll have to go back to the doctor 'soon'
