German / French / Italian copy paste

Begin rant:

Alright, this has been bugging me a bit for some time but I've not said anything because I think some would make me out to be a lazy git...

PLEASE if you are going to copy paste stuff from the internet in the original (read: non-English) language, could you also provide sensible translation?

I think we can all look for stuff ourselves and if I wanted to muddle through figuring out the auto-translations provided by Bablefish or whatever else, I could do that for myself as well.

Copy pasting without translation is only a bare step above completely useless!

This is most important part I think. I usually have to send a document through at least two translators to make sure I *actually* know what it says. Posting the gibberish from google translate or wherever as an 'accurate' translation is almost as bad as posting nothing at all...

I guess this will not make me more popular, but I manage to get the point of websites that are not in my native language. Be it in Italian or Swedish, I somehow usually get the point when I really try. For some reasons, this seems to be incredibly much more difficult for English speakers. Sorry, if there is a source that helps a poster and it happens to be not in English, I will continue to post it with an explenation what it is. Translations are then your problems as I will neither do the extra work or limit myself to English sources if I can offer help most will understand.

I think this is the point. At least you post an explanation along with it. The ones who post a link to an article or information that is not in English and say nothing else and provide no translation are the ones being referenced here. This is, after all, an 'English' forum. People who post things that are not in English should either provide a useful explanation or a useful translation. key word = useful...
