Live rock and punk music

Hello,
Kinda new to Lausanne. I am looking for more places that have nice rock and punk live music/events, aside the docks and romandie. Any good places to suggest or nice sites to detect them? (The event calendars for Lausanne seem to have almost 0 references to any of them...)
thanks

I went to see The Damned at Les Docks a couple of weeks ago. Try their site for upcoming gigs.

I'd have loved to see The Damned live... However Bad Religion is coming to Basel (to Pratteln, actually) next week, on Wed. 20th!

Bad religion in Basel sounds awesome...as long as they won't play many songs after 1993 ;P ;P

I personally like all of their songs, and this will be the 7th time I see them live (if I counted correctly) and they always make a great show regardless of the songs they sing.

I don't mind the change in their music too, people change and they are no exception. But changing while staying awesome it's quite an achievement, I'd say

Re: Live rock and punk music

Soooo after searching a bit I found 2-3 websites that have the concerts gathered (I dont know if they apply any filters :P). I found (in alphabeticall order) : metalfactory.ch, https://metalgigs.ch/ and https://rocktatoswiss.wordpress.com/. Disclaimer: Personal opinion follows in 3...2...1... metalfactory.ch interface is simple and minimal, Metalgigs looks nice but they should put also English language , and as for the last one, being an ex blogger I will NEVER see or find anything bad ever on blogs, let alone a blog on my kind of music

Re: Live rock and punk music

I will watch the persistence tou in lindau /germany, because it is closer to my work place.
On May 12th there is a punk festival in dornbirn/austria:

https://www.adticket.de/Punk-in-Drub..._term=dornbirn

It is not far from the swiss border.

There is another hardcore festival on march 10 in Aarburg:

https://www.starticket.ch/de/tickets...igburg-aarburg

I plan to attend a 3 day hardcore festival in belgium:

Re: Live rock and punk music

Reitschule in Bern has really good punk shows on regularly...the whole place has a rather punk/anarchy feel to it and I highly recommend it.

Re: Live rock and punk music

necroposting on a thread that has been dead for 3 years

It's the rocklette festival in Valais which this year is focused on doom, stoner and blues: https://palpfestival.ch/en/evenements/rocklette-2/

The lineup:

Saturday 06.08.2022, Orange Goblin & Graveyard
Sunday 07.08.2022 Motorpsycho
Thursday 11.08.2022, Wo Fat & Greenleaf
Saturday 13.08.2022, Green Lung & The Devil and the Almighty Blues
Sunday 14.08.2022, Witch & Ty Segall and Freedom Band

Still deciding which day or couple days I want to go. I'd drive from Aarau to Val de Vagnes in Valais early in the morning. Concerts end by 19h00, then a hearty dinner and drive back to Aargau. Any rock fan want to join? Would be nicer to not go alone haha

Well, Ty Segall needs no introduction, some of the others:

Graveyard

Green Lung

The devil and the almighty blues

Love the Palp festival - we got to see Kadavar in this splendid setting a couple of years back:

If you like stoner/doom music, there is an awesome festival outside Basel every year (this year is quite small, I think still recovering from the pandemic):

Up In Smoke
