Roy Orbison - 30th anniversary of his passing

Roy Orbison passed away 30 years ago today. He left us a wealth of music; such was his talent that I have never been able to chose a favourite song. His concert "Roy Orbison and Friends - A Black and White Night Live" is unsurpassable in my opinion. Thanks for your musical legacy Roy, and so many happy memories. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssXAkg0bV6o

The Travelling Wilburys is one of my favourite albums. I’ve got it in vinyl.

I wasn't a huge fan, but I vividly remember the moment I heard he died - weird how memory works. One of the musicians which defined an era.

Re: Roy Orbison - 30th anniversary of his passing

I recorded "A Black and White Night Live" when it was reshown on BBC4 last year. Hadn't seen it for ages and had forgotten how excellent it is. My fave Roy Orbison song is "In Dreams", always listen to it before I go to bed if my OH is away.
