The concert children here play at the local conservatoire are open to public and free. If you call your regional conservatoire, they'd tell you. It is not the highest quality classical music but children love it, since it is played by their peers (it is also short and not so formal). Their orchestra is also very good.

The Kammerorchester in Zurich has several one for different ages. The Tonhalle Zurich as well starting from the age of 5. Also the Opernhaus Zurich has.
We liked the ones from the Zürcher Kammerorchester or the Tonhalle one. It is always connected to a story and the story was in Swiss German.
Not sure about Zug. Maybe check with the Musikschule in Zug.

Thanks for the useful info.

We used to go to baby concert when they were small: https://babykonzert.ch/
That was nice!

Now, we are looking for something more serious, maybe in the direction you mentioned.

We will check also the idea suggested by MusicChick

Is this in Nyon you are referring to? I'd like to check that out if so

I'd also check the local churches. There are concerts and no snob attitude against children.
