I don't see why one would bother paying 170 for Levi 501's at Jemoli, or drop 120 for some Wranglers. I don't want to make the comparison but the 501's I have on right now sell on average 45 back home per pair. They're fine jeans but at the prices quoted here... ehhhh. At the end of the day your paying for roughly the same denim from the same country of origin regardless of whether you buy them from Zara/H&M/Manor etc.

I mean the quality of denim comes into play when your riding horses, building a house or hitching wagons, not when your stepping onto a tram.

This is ridiculous argument and It can't get any funnier than this "he quality of denim comes into play when your riding horses, building a house or hitching wagons, not when your stepping onto a tram" -

If you're specifically looking for "baggy" (which could be more than one style) check out the boyfriend jeans at H&M.

Personally I like Vera Moda jeans but I don't know if they have baggy.

If you want the more "poop your pants pants" as I call them, you need to try trendier stores like Diesel, Globus (which has a wicked sale section with jeans marked down 75% when the sale is on), G-Star and Miss Sixty. If you're in Zurich head up to Niederdorf by the big church. As you walk up and to the left to the main street of the old town (sorry I don't know the name) there is a huge store just before you really get into the old town. It's on the right hand side and will have a bunch of joke/knick-knack stuff in the window. The shop opens into this huge space where you walk down a ramp into thousands of jeans, many reasonable prices.

One last place is ZERO in Sihl city, but their new collection is a bit blah.

I've long given up shopping for jeans in Zurich, I stock up when in London and Canada/the US.

I recommend this place:
http://www.american-drugstore.ch/

good selection of name brand jeans at reasonable prices. They have locations all over. If they do not have the size you want they shall order with no obligation in case it does not fit.

Where's a good shop to buy denim jeans.I prefer more the baggy hip-hop style. What about H&M? What do you prefer in jeans?
Did you have a look at the American Drugstore at Langstrasse?
