Where's a good shop to buy denim jeans.I prefer more the baggy hip-hop style. What about H&M? What do you prefer in jeans?

Try Jelmolí or Surf & Snow in the Glatt centre.

Only go to Jemoli if you want to be out of money for the next 10 months.
I would try Zara or H and M.
The only two reasonable clothing stores in all the land!

If you don't want your jeans to have 16 pockets and end below your ass, Migros sells some good, clean standard jeans for 50 bucks and they even have XL sizes.

Both those shops are fine if you are size skinny & not very tall. The rest of us have to take out a mortgage & shop at places like Jelmoli (or fly home). | Quote: | | | | | Only go to Jemoli if you want to be out of money for the next 10 months.

I would say only buy it in either Jelmoli or Manor...Rest all C&A, H&M or Zara are not worth spending...because they offer very average quality but prices are that low...So why not spend more for really good quality in Jelmoli or Manor...

I don't see why one would bother paying 170 for Levi 501's at Jemoli, or drop 120 for some Wranglers. I don't want to make the comparison but the 501's I have on right now sell on average 45 back home per pair. They're fine jeans but at the prices quoted here... ehhhh. At the end of the day your paying for roughly the same denim from the same country of origin regardless of whether you buy them from Zara/H&M/Manor etc.
I mean the quality of denim comes into play when your riding horses, building a house or hitching wagons, not when your stepping onto a tram. |

For price vs quality, H&M is very good. Got lots of stuff for the kids there and never went bad, actually, still look like new after unlimited washing.
Mango has also nice things at a good price vs quality.

Well a couple of weeks ago I bought Levis 501 in sale at manor. 89 franks reduced from 150 Franks. Good deal-I was lucky. And the quality of cheaper H&M or C&A is really not to be compared to authentic Levi's and other brands like Lee etc-

As mentioned, check out H&M, C&A and Yes or No @ Manor for affordable stuff.
If you do not care about the price or if you can plan your trip during sale time, go to the Niederdörfli and check out the stores there.
For baggies go to the Carhartt shop, Jamarico and the Beach Mountain (all right next to each other at Hirschenplatz). The Zwingli Halle has a huge selection and there are also stores like WE and lots of different brand stores that have decent jeans.

Although, and be prepared to be shocked, they are still cheaper than the US!

Did anybody read the original post? There are no baggy jeans at H&M, Zara, C&A, Migros or Jelmoli.
Try a Hip-Hop store or skateshop.

Have no idea what their merchandise is like, however. | Quote: | | | | | C&A..wooow! well if you like the CHEAP CHEAP STUFF'' I wonder when you wash them what they look like after.. Nor does more expensive an item necessarily equate with better quality. Sometimes it does but definitely not always! | This user would like to thank ximix for this useful post: | |
