| | How to type at @ with a german version keybord
dear EF friends, i dont know if you have the same problem as me or not, but i just can not find out how to type the at @ with german version keybord, and i mistaken z to y always..... can somebody help. i googled, but the tip there is not helping which is press ctrl +alt then 2.....  |

@ is shift + the key 2nd right of the L

On my keyboard it is alt + @ symbol. Get a proper keyboard.

Mine was purchased here in Basel, whether it is "German" vs "Swiss German" I don't know for certain but I imagine it is the latter...

Or you just change the keyboard language to whatever layout you are used to and magically everything is where it's supposed to be.

I once had to type with a French keyboard...I couldn't spell for shy*e! I felt like a dyslexic typist with tourette. (and no, I don't type with a French now  )
