question cashmere and fur coat?

Hello girls

I am looking for a long cashmere and fox fur coat, I prefer black. Do any body know a shop in Geneva, Lausanne or maybe Zurich who sells such coats. I find either only cashmere or only fur!

Seefeld is the spiritual home of these things - go walk the streets and browse around. However I don't know why the material are that important to you - surely it's more how they're put together?

Re: question cashmere and fur coat?

Of course it is important how they put together, but I wanted to explain what I want exactly. I do not want a simple cashmere coat or a full fur coat. Thanks.

I understand, but there isn't a website or static stock list for these things. You walk into a shop and you get what you get. It's highly unlikely you're going to go online and find someone who's going to be able to tell you exactly where to get something like that, but rather where you might start looking.

Thanks economisto. I am sure about what you said, but I needed some advices, particularly because I am new in Geneva and do not know all the shops here. For example, if I was asked this question, I would say see Max Mara they have some thing like that (but they do not have my size ).

Perhaps if you provided a picture of the kind of thing you're looking for?

Re: question cashmere and fur coat?

Here in Zurich, there is a speciality fur shop on end of Talstrasse, near Burkliplatz just opposite the Hotel Baur Au Lac. I've seen lots of fur coats in the window whenever I pass by on the tram I also saw the signs that they also specialise in cleaning etc.

Obviously I dont know if they have specifically what you're looking for (the fox and cashmere mix) as I've never had the desire to step in there, but it doesnt hurt to look if you are ever here.

Anyone who fancies discussing the ethical aspects of the OP's request, may find satisfaction here.

By the way, I understand that husky fur has recently come down quite sharply in price...

Second Hand Jasmine on Seefeldstrasse might have what you're after but mind, it's second hand.

In fact, after watching this video, I decide not to wear real fur or leather.

I think that before this thread turns into an animal rights support thread I'll close it. Any relevant information PM to the OP - but no aggressive ones please. For those of you who didn't know it already, this can result in a temporary ban.
