sensory deprivation chambers

Hello everyone, has anyone ever experienced a sensory deprivation chamber? I had an opportunity to try one when I lived in chi town, but never did do it
If yes do you know of a place that offers them here preferably in ZH?
thanks for your info..

Here you go.

Look for "floating" if you search on google. It's another one of those peculiar Schwinglish words...

Re: sensory deprivation chambers

I did, but it was 20 y ago.
I loved it even I normally can't stand to be in a close area.

Just make sure it is in a quite area (no train...).
Should be easy in Zurich.

Re: sensory deprivation chambers

It's quite popular around the world. Unfortunately it seems that the centers in Cuba and Egypt are being closed soon. Ask these chaps for further guidance.

Re: sensory deprivation chambers

The new tanks offer the possibility to close them or leave the lid open so no excuse for the claustrophobic people.

You can arrive in a zen state very quickly. One hour flies by. Really something you should try.

There is one facility in Geneva and one in Martigny (VS) that I know of in the Swiss Romande area.

Re: sensory deprivation chambers

Or you could just have a bath with the light off, perhaps?
