| | Re: hospitals and dignity | Quote: | | | | | ok this is not going to be THAT discussion ( death and dying ) but...
.
why is it when you walk into a hospital your dignity so often goes out the other door?
I had to spend a little time "in-house" yesterday. I walked in as the dapper and dashing mr. Grynch you know and love and in moments of putting on my johnny ...well... the nurses they just lost all decorum... all over me... I had to plead for mercy from all their embraces*
*That would be version one and as this is my post it is the one I am going to stick with. However just for the record the other possible version is I walked in as the dapper and dashing mr. Grynch you know and love and in moments of putting on my johnny I turned into a "I don't give a sh*t me nuts is showing just get me a pillow" mr. Cranky. | | | | | What on earth were you expecting to happen????? There are better places to go to get your end away mate.

in reality working in hospital is a stressful job, so they have to have some humour relief... apparently the "johnny designer" kept that in mind. | Quote: | | | | | You remember thinking "Is this prostate examination REALLY necessary?", well....... | | | | | I can guarantee you a prostate exam in my case is not needed. Or if you really did want to examine it you could visit the labs at the clinic generale-beaulieu. I've been prostate free and cancer free coming on four years now. That way it makes this job... | Quote: | | | | Suppositories | | | | | ...as well as catheter a bit easier to manage after having administered general anesthetic.

as long as we were talking about cute nurses earlier.. and now catheters....The week after my prostate op. I was being cleansed and having the catheter removed by an attractive nurse... and I can remember yelling, albeit silently to myself "co'mon lil mr G all your life you have fantasized about this moment, ie. cute nurse and a sponge bath, and all you can do is lay there!!! "
such is life. | This user would like to thank grynch for this useful post: | |
